Completing an Agreement

FEES AND EXPENSES
Our Basic Fee for the above scope of services will be
and will be broken into stages as follows:

The Basic Fee includes
further meetings during
the pre-construction phase and for
subsequent site visits for the purposes set out in the scope of services.
Before implementing any changes required to the services or an approved design,
the basis for any consequential change to the fees or expenses will be agreed with
you.
Time charges for any additional services and/or where the Basic Fee incorporates
time charges, will be calculated on the basis of £

Please note that the above fees do not include protracted negotiations with
the Local Planning Authority or Statutory Consultees, re-submissions or liaison
with or presentations to adjoining owners, neighbours or self-appointed local

THE APPOINTMENT OF CONSULTANTS AND SPECIALIST SUPPLIERS
To enable the practice to carry out its work in connection with the project, it will be
necessary for you to seek advice from, and appoint, other consultants to facilitate
this. These are normally employed directly by yourselves for contractual reasons
and you will be responsible for their appointment and payment of all their design
or construction-related fees or charges. We can advise you further in due course.
However, we would envisage that the following consultants will be required at
the outset but, as the design develops, it may be necessary to include other
specialists by agreement:
Structural Engineer
A Structural Engineer will be required to assist in the design development and to
prepare calculations, details and specifications for all structural modifications. An
