From the worked example in Figure 6.4, the following points can be gleaned:
•City Centre Architects is undertaking the project lead, lead designer, architect
and contract administrator roles.
•City Centre Architects will be undertaking the construction lead role in Stages
2 and 3 inclusive, prior to the appointment of the contractor.
•Clear Costs LLP will be preparing Cost Information at Stages 1 and 2;
however, City Centre Architects will take over the cost management after this
stage as part of their contract administrator role.
•The nature of the project requires a building services engineer to assist only
with the Developed Design and the preparation of Technical Design information.
•Big Beam Ltd are appointed for Stages 2 to 6 inclusive, allowing them to
produce their Technical Design information, carry out site inspections on the
structural works and assist on site, as required.
•Safety Ensured Ltd will be undertaking the health and safety adviser role from
Stage 1 onwards.
• There are no Stage 7 duties when the building will be in use.
